The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and the manager of the Doblemar hotel in La Manga, belonging to the ROC Hotels chain, Inocencio García signed an educational collaboration agreement at the City Hall of San Javier that will allow 7 young people from the municipality to carry out work placements in the aforementioned hotel establishment, in an act attended by the Councilor for Local Development and Tourism, Antonio Martínez.
The seven young people in practices belonging to the Youth Guarantee program and participants in the Youth Employment Operative Program "Bet Young San Javier" belong to the Cooking specialties, with two students;
Basic Operations of Bar and Restaurant, with four students, and Tourist Promotion and Information to the visitor with 1 student.
The program welcomes a total of 75 students who are divided into other training specialties such as Business English and Warehouse Assistant Activities.
All specialties include training in Equality and Information and Communication Technologies, with a total of 3600 hours of training and internships in companies.
