Don Juan Tenorio returns to the cemetery of San Javier (18/10/2019)

The public enters the work with an initial tour of the cemetery of San Javier that ends with the representation of the work of Zorrila, by the San Javier Theater Group, outside the cemetery in an enclosure for 1500 people

Don Juan Tenorio returns, tomorrow Saturday October 19, to the cemetery of San Javier for the sixth consecutive year and for the first time integrated in the "Cemetery Route of Spain", presented as a "cultural experience that exceeds the limits of the theater stage and is it becomes a collective rite. "

In this edition, as a novelty, the procession that will travel through the interior of the cemetery chaired by the Virgen del Carmen, patron of the Good Death accompanied by the souls and the Auroros Bell, will leave at 8:00 p.m. from the San Javier Museum towards the cemetery where the doors will open at 20:30.

The Association Friends of Bethlehem gives the last touches to the atmosphere of the cemetery where the candles that light the route have been expanded where among other images and real compositions you can admire religious images of great artistic value along with the baroque ornamentation of the different corners of the cemetery.

The choral and instrumental music will accompany the visitors on the tour with the participation of the Orfeón Fernández Caballero, the Patnia Coral, the Ars Antiqua choir and musicians of the San Javier Conservatory that this year, for the first time add a grand piano, ceded for the occasion for the Klavier company.

More than 200 people take part in "Don Juan Tenorio.
