The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and several members of the municipal corporation attended today, in the cemetery of San Javier, the act with which the General Air Academy remembers its military killed on the occasion of the Day of the Fallen by the Fatherland that the Armed Forces celebrate on November 2.

The colonel director of the AGA, Manuel de la Chica presided over the act that began with the raising of the flag to the sound of the national anthem performed by the Music Unit of the AGA, in the military enclosure that houses the cemetery of San Javier.

The half-mast flag especially reminded this year of Commander Francisco Marín who died in a flight accident on August 26, and Commander Daniel Melero and student Ensign, Rosa Almirón, who lost their lives in another accident on September 18 past.

Two students wore a laurel wreath that Colonel Manuel de la Chica and Mayor José Miguel Luengo deposited in memory of the dead military men next to the cross that presided over the military compound.

The chaplain of the AGA officiated the response in which he reminded the deceased of the Armed Forces and especially those of the Air Force, before the military and civil authorities, a section of the student squad, a representation of the Ladies of Loreto and civilians who attended the event that ended with the anthem of the Air Force.
