After the election of queens and ladies youth and children this weekend, the program intensifies from the opening of barracks at the fairgrounds on Friday, November 29
The proclamation of Valentín Sánchez Cegarra “El Finoâ€, a confectioner businessman and well-known actor of the theater group “San Javierâ€, will open the San Javier festivities next Friday, November 22 at 9pm from the balcony of the City Hall.
The proclamation will give way to an intense weekend in which Huertano Day will be celebrated, on Saturday morning and the party tent will be opened for the election of youth queen on Saturday night and child queen on Sunday afternoon .
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the Councilor for Fiestas, Isidoro Miñano and the president of the party commission, Ricardo Luna today presented a program “varied, designed for all audiences inside and outside the municipality†that will last until December 8 and which intensifies from Friday December 29 with the opening of the fairgrounds and barracks, many of them open to the public with a varied gastronomic offer, run by the 28 clubs that participate in this edition of the parties
The mayor revealed the names that this year will collect his titles of Sailor, Pirate and Peasant of the Year that have fallen on the young canoeist Pablo Sánchez Palacios;
José Luis Lomas, neighbor of San Javier and leader of PAPEA, and the El Mirador Agricultural Demonstration and Transfer Center, respectively.
In the same event, which will be held at the opening of the tent on Friday 29 at 9pm, a tribute will be held to Jesus Montesino “El Rusoâ€, “for his selfless delivery to the parties for years,†recalled José Miguel Luengo .
The program includes news for the youngest, such as the culinary event “Junior Cooks†and other mass events such as the DJ festival “Intempo San Javier†for which 3,500 tickets have already been sold, recalled the mayor of Fiestas, Isidoro Miñano.
The music occupies an important place in the program with the concerts of Elephants, with Incredible Ful and Ladywriters as opening actresses, on December 7;
the OBK group and Los Vinilos on December 5;
the In Vivo quartet on December 3, or the “Rock San Javier†festival with five formations, on December 6, among other performances.
There will be plenty of traditional and expected events such as the Pasabares, the night of talents, the elaboration and tasting of the “biggest cake in the world†cake, the parade of floats, the Grand Prix Interpeñas, the Children's Day, the Day of the Elderly, the parades, and the concert of the Music Unit of the AGA, and the procession of the Saint with pyromusical show included, on December 3 the day of the Patron Saint Francisco Javier.
Ricardo Luna, president of the commission that groups the 28 festive clubs praised the program that the commission elaborates together with the Department of Festivities and invited the residents of the municipality and the entire region to participate and enjoy the festivities.
In the same way, the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, encouraged the neighbors to modify the daily routine these days and join "this space of coexistence that are the holidays".
