| The City Council renews its collaboration with the Mar Menor Norte Red Cross | The City Council of San Javier will continue to collaborate with the Spanish Association Against Cancer with which it has renewed an agreement through which the City Council contributes to the AECC Local Board a total of 2000 euros in aid to finance outreach and prevention as well as other actions of a charitable nature to cancer patients and family members of the municipality.The accidental mayoress María Dolores Ruiz signed the renewal of the agreement with the president of the Murcia Provincial Board of the AECC, Manuel Molina Boix who attended accompanied by the president of the Association's Local Board, Antonio Cerezuela.
The head of the Local Board of San Javier regretted that the interruption that COVID-19 has brought about an interruption of face-to-face care at the headquarters that the association maintains open in San Javier, which is expected to resume as soon as possible.The San Javier headquarters, located at Calle Archena, 16 offers a psychosocial care service with a psychologist and a social worker, and other activities such as a pilates workshop in addition to general advice to patients and relatives during the disease process.The City Council renews its collaboration with the Red Cross Mar Menor NorteThe San Javier City Council and the Mar Menor Norte Red Cross District Assembly have renewed the collaboration agreement between both institutions in social and security matters.
The accidental mayoress María Dolores Ruiz and the president of the Mar Menor Norte district Assembly, Antonio Martínez have signed the renewal of the agreement through which the City of San Javier contributes 5000 euros to the non-profit NGO that operates in the region to through volunteering.Among the activities foreseen in the aforementioned agreement of the lake of the year, which will be developed according to the needs, is the prevention and citizen protection in situations that require it due to a high attendance of the public, collaboration in social activities, health training courses and social and promotion of citizen participation in Red Cross volunteer activities, among others.
