A new course on the new lexicon of Tourism to successful courses High Performance Basketball and tales adds (26/05/2016)

San Javier repeats this summer two courses most successful of the International University of the Sea: the International Course of High Performance in Basketball, held for the 6th consecutive year, and had 130 Spanish and foreign students in the last edition, and the course "" to educate, create and heal through stories, "repeated for the fifth consecutive year and last year attracted 80 students.

The headquarters of San Javier will host a third course which opens this year dedicated to the field of tourism "New tourism lexicon: Translation and specialized communication."

San Javier is 14 years as headquarters of the Universidad del Mar recalled today Councilwoman Catherine Education Perez during the presentation of the courses that are taught in the town at a ceremony held in the city of San Javier in which participated the Vice Chancellor Training and Information UMU, Pedro Miralles, the directors of the scheduled courses, Carmen Sanchez, Jose and Maria Valverde Margineda, and the dean of the Faculty of Sports Science, Arturo Diaz.

The first to be held from 8 to 10 July at the Sports of San Javier, will be the International Course High Performance Basketball directed since its inception Joseph Margineda, in which prestigious professionals like Jose Ramon Cuspinera coach Fuenlabrada, along with professionals from academia and sports and basketball provide students with knowledge and experience that can be applied after each in its field.

Carmen Sanchez leads one of the newest courses this year, "I had to be in San Javier by linking with tourism," said the mayor of Education Catalina Perez.

This is the course "New tourism lexicon: Translation and specialized communication" to be held from 18 to 20 July at the Faculty of Sports Science.

Aimed at students of philology, translation and tourism specialists, the course, which has national and international teachers, it deals with the new lexicon and discourse genres that have generated new forms of tourism.

It will be developed in theoretical and practical sessions in the afternoon devoted to the multilingual translation of tourism texts.

Registration for all courses will be conducted through the http://www.um.es/unimar web.

In September, from 5 to 9, will come "Educate, create and heal through tales" directed psychologist and writer of short stories, María Valverde course.

The course, aimed at anyone interested, is to learn to get all the wisdom they contain tales to apply in all areas of life, not only in childhood.

The methodology includes a more creative side with storytelling techniques to facilitate their educational and therapeutic use.

The Vice Chancellor Training and Information UMU, Pedro Miralles, who highlighted San Javier "as one of the venues that work best both by municipal support as the influx of students," announced the launch of a series of conferences in some of the headquarters of the International University of the Sea, as in the case of San Javier, where the Faculty of Sport Sciences will organize a conference of relevant top-level athlete, for next fall.

Miralles also announced the establishment in San Javier a permanent place of University Extension of the University of Murcia, through which they will organize activities throughout the year.
