Conservatory celebrates its "Musical Spring" (28/03/2017)

The Conservatorio Profesional de Música de San Javier has prepared its own "Musical Spring", with a program that includes a cycle of concerts, training activities, the recovery of the school concert program, and the novelty of an exchange with a Finnish Conservatory.

The Councilor for Education, Catalina Pérez and the director of the Conservatory Francisco Javier Martinez presented this morning in the educational center, the program that starts tomorrow with the first concerts of a cycle of 17 musical performances of the different instrumental specialties that will last until four Of April in different stages of the whole municipality.

The "Musical Spring" of the Conservatory of San Javier includes the course "Creation and musical production for film and TV" to be given by the murcian Pedro Contreras on June 13.

In relation to health has organized the workshop "Body awareness and myofascial stretching to perfect the musical gesture", taught by Tatiana Glazkova, on June 1.

The program of activities organized by the Conservatory with the collaboration of the Association of Mothers and Parents of Pupils will include an activity within their Family School with the talk "Motivate from the affection" offered by the psychologist Raquel Pinteño.

The director of the center announced the recovery of the "School Concerts" program, which will be held on May 2 and 3, offered to 1,200 schoolchildren of the municipality, with the aim of bringing them closer to music as well as to the Conservatory itself.

This spring will also be the first international exchange held by the Conservatory of San Javier with the reception of 12 students and two teachers of the Conservatory of Kokkola, Finland, under the Erasmus + program.

The Conservatory will also be present through the Voces Blancas choir and the San Javier Symphonic Band in San Cayetano with the concert that will offer in the local temple both formations next June.

The "Musical Spring" brings together a series of diverse activities that "complement the daily teaching work" of the center, said its director Francisco Javier Martínez who invited the public to participate "in a program that leaves the Conservatory to meet people."

The Councilor for Education, Catalina Pérez highlighted the "opening" of the Conservatory and congratulated the Management, Academic Extension team, teachers, staff and AMPA of the Center for "their concern and desire to continue innovating and improving the educational quality in our Conservatory ".
