The Conservatory of Music of San Javier presents its first Erasmus + with an Italian Music School (23/05/2017)

The Conservatory of Music of San Javier today presented its first Erasmus + project that will allow 17 students from the school to participate in a program of cultural and cultural exchange with students of the School of Music La Nota Blue, the Italian city of Tortona.

The Councilor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa, whose department has collaborated in the project, and the general director of Youth, Fran Sánchez attended this morning together with representatives of the Conservatory and the students themselves to the presentation of the program they have called "Erasmusic +" and that Will start next June 29 with the arrival of the 17 Italian students to San Javier.

The project leader in San Javier, Teresa's piano student Silvia, explained that the main objective of the program is to share and make music together, so during the 8 days of the stay of the young Italian musicians several Rehearsal sessions for a final concert in which the European anthem will not be missing.

The Spanish students, who did not hide their enthusiasm for being able to participate in this project, have also prepared a cultural and playful program, which includes several visits in the Region and one to Valencia to know the four concert halls of the Palau de les Arts, in Valencia.

Students at the San Javier Conservatory will travel to Italy in the first week of September to complete the exchange.

The Councilor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa and the Director General of Sports, Fran Sánchez agreed to congratulate the students "who have been the main leaders of the project in which they have worked hard" and to congratulate them on the European experience that invited them to take advantage of maximum.

For the director of the center, Francisco Javier Martinez, this Erasmus + project is "the beginning of a new stage of building bridges with other countries, something already working outside Europe with projects with Costa Rica and the United States."

The students, who study different musical disciplines and who finished the act playing some musical pieces, thanked the opportunity "that has been possible thanks to the involvement of the Conservatory, the AMPA and the Department of Youth."
