The song "Es San Javier" by Rica Malata, the group of the local singer Dora Helena is the winner of the Model Competition that with the motto "Your summer in San Javier" is convened coinciding with the Mistral Beach Festival to be held 17 to 20 August in La Manga del Mar Menor, organized by the Department of Festivities.

The Mar Menor with La Manga in the background was the place chosen this morning by the Councilor of Festejos Pedro López to present the Festival, which will have free admission the four days, along with Alberto Garcia of the production company El Plan del Mono and Manuel Sotomayor de Cadena COPE Which sponsors the concerts of Elephants and Paco Pil, on Friday, August 18 at 10:30 p.m., and the Argentinean Coti, with Rica Malata as opening act, through Cadena 100, on Saturday 19 at 22:30.

The Festival will begin on Thursday 17 at 23:00 with ALV McMartin and Paco Pil and will end on Sunday, August 20 with a Tribute to AC / DC with The Bon Scott Band.

All the concerts will take place next to the beach Mistral and will be free access.

In a boat in the middle of the Mar Menor, the singer Dora Helena interpreted the winning theme of the model competition that was presented 30 groups or soloists from which four groups were selected among which the winner came out after a concert with public of the finalists Which took place in Santiago de la Ribera last July.

The winning theme, composed by the guitarist of the group, Adrián Vera, speaks of "childhood memories in the corners of this paradise" explained Dora Helena who showed his satisfaction to be opening for Coti in the concert of August 19 in La Sleeve.

Pedro López, who had a few words in memory of Juan José García, from El Plan del Mono, the promoter of the Festival, who died recently, highlighted the consolidation of this Festival that offers a meeting with young music during the month of August in La Manga and Which continues to gain fans each year.
