A total of nine teams from the Region of Murcia, Comunidad Valenciana, France, Poland and Germany will compete in the fourth edition of the Beach Soccer Mar Menor Memorial Cup Juan Antonio Jiménez to be held on 8, 9 and 10 December at Barnuevo Beach, from Santiago de la Ribera.

The Councilor for Sports Estíbaliz Masegosa and José Bernardo Castejón, secretary of Club Ais Playas de San Javier, host of the event, presented this morning at the City Hall of San Javier the Championship "unique in Spain and the most important in Europe in winter season" , said Castejón thanked the collaboration of the City of San Javier in the organization of the tournament.

The participating teams are Wuppertaler and Dusseldorf, from Germany;

Legrand Mote, from France, Silesia, from Poland, the Playas de Mazarrón, current champion of the Championship;

Levante UD, winner of the first edition, Jove Español, CD Bala Azul, and the Ais Playas de San Javier.

The matches will be played uninterrupted on the 8th and 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday 10th the first places will be played from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. when the final is scheduled. followed by the act of awarding trophies.

The Councilor for Sports Estíbaliz Masegosa highlighted the high level achieved by this beach soccer championship that coincides with the San Javier festivities in this edition, for which she wished the greatest success.
