The Councilor for Education Catalina Pérez and the director of the Conservatory of Music of San Javier, Francisco Javier Martinez today presented the First Chamber Music Day that will take place next Sunday, February 25 with the participation of the Youth Orchestra of the Northwest of the Region of Murcia, JONOMUR, and the Conservatory of Music of San Javier.
The day will begin with a pedagogical meeting in the facilities of the Conservatory in which the director of the JONOMUR, Juan Jesús López Sandoval and the young musicians who make up the orchestra, with ages between 13 and 18, will participate with the people in charge and students of the Conservatory of San Javier.
The Orchestra, composed of 70 musicians selected in the Northwest region and throughout the Region, which has 10 students who have studied or studied at the Conservatory of San Javier, will offer a concert at the Plaza de España in San Javier at 12 :Four. Five.
The director of the San Javier Conservatory, Francisco Javier Martínez, stressed the importance of this meeting "since JONOMUR is a very inspiring project for us".
Martinez said that among the next projects of the Conservatory is to form a Symphony Orchestra as a stable project along with existing ones such as the Band and the Voces Blancas choir.
The Councilor for Education Catalina Perez thanked the management and faculty of the Conservatory for this kind of stimulating initiatives for students and also for the public that can enjoy a concert of this young orchestra in the Town Hall Square.
