Councilor for Social Services Estibaliza Masegosa and the coordinator of the Municipal School of Family, Julia Meroņo today presented the workshop "Let's go to the school of the elderly" that is celebrated for the first time aimed at mothers and fathers of children born in 2015 facing its incorporation into the second cycle of Early Childhood Education in the school.
The workshop that will be taught by the specialist psychologist in childhood, Laura Martinez aims to help families in the transition period of children who leave behind the baby treatment to start a new stage in which they begin to acquire more autonomy and responsibilities.
The workshop to be held at the Social Services Center, in Santiago de la Ribera, on February 27, and March 6,13 and 20, in the afternoon, will hold a first edition for families whose children have attended centers of attention to childhood, from 0 to 3 years, and a second edition, between March and April that will be announced soon, for families of children who have not attended any previous center.
Interested persons can register until February 23 and can do so by downloading a form in the social services section of the website of the City of San Javier www.sanjavier.es and sending it by mail to servicios.sociales@sanjavier.es or face-to-face in the Social Services center, in Bernal Street, 3 of Santiago de la Ribera.
Councilor for Social Services Estibaliz Masegosa encouraged families who are among the recipients of the workshop to participate and take advantage of the resources provided by the Municipal School of Family with different actions throughout the course in order to accompany parents in the task of educating the children.
