The restaurants of the Plaza de España, in San Javier have joined the celebration of the Book Day to be held on Saturday April 21 in the aforementioned square with a very literary appetizer, from 1:00 pm on the basis of tapas with names as "Dostoyevski", "Pérez Reverte" or "Cervantes" to the rhythm of funk with the concert of the band from Murcia LCD Funk.

The literary aperitif will be the highlight of a morning when the library of San Javier pays tribute to the books with a party "in which we wanted the whole family to participate with activities for young and old", said the councilor of Culture, David Martínez who presented together with the library coordinator, Toni Díaz, "the great celebration of the Day of the Book".

The activities will begin at 11 am with a stand in which books and a library will be given in which the children can also take the available copies in a magical space surrounded by books.

The Municipal School of Family also participates with a workshop of jueegos and a healthy lunch for all the presents.

At 12 o'clock, the last bilingual storyteller of the cycle that has been celebrated in the last weeks in the library with "Reading to Pinocchio" will begin.

a "Pérez Reverte" by López Bar, consisting of a pulguita with tomato, oil and roe of mullet or the classic sailor that will serve Café Nenico with the name of another classic such as "Cervantes".

There will also be a dessert like "Snow White", a roasted apple from Cafería Around the corner ", or the" Miguel Hernández "with which the Jijonenca Ice Cream Shop has given name to a nougat pot with butter.

The celebration of the Day of the Book that last Saturday arrived at Santiago de la Ribera and El Mirador, will move in the afternoon of Saturday, April 21 to La Manga del Mar Menor, starting at 6pm at Galerías El Flamenco with a bibliopeques, the storyteller María Teresa Carretero with "Pajaricos en el jardín" and a placard workshop in which children write slogans in favor of books.
