Local police officers arrested a man last night, AFM 38, a resident of Santiago de la Ribera for a crime of damage, attack strength and authority, in the vicinity of the pine forest of San Blas where you set fire to a container glass.
The arrest occurred about 00:30 am today, Tuesday June 7, after a person passing through the area called the 112 emergency only phone, warning of the presence of a man who after hitting several parked cars had caught fire to a container next to the pine forest.
In the scene presented himself a local police patrol and a team of firefighters quelled the blaze.
The officials identified the cause of the fire that attacked the officers and tried to harm themselves.
The detainee, who had caused damage of more than 400 euros, was taken to Civil Guard headquarters for legal provision.
