On Sunday June 19 is celebrated the 14th Classic Cycling beaches of San Javier Memorial "Chaplain", starting and finishing on the Esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera with the participation of 130 riders from 13 teams, young talent professional cycling.
The traditional race cycling club organizes the "Mar Menor" in collaboration with the municipality of San Javier, in memory of a local cyclist who died in a traffic accident, was presented this morning in the municipality of San Javier in the presence of the mayor, José Martínez Pastor, the Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo, the president and vice president of the organizing club, Jose Moreno and Sergio Martinez, respectively, and the vice president of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, Miguel Fernández.

from the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera will have a total length of 98 km with 3 laps of 9.5 miles and urban quarter that will go to the port of second category of Portman.

Carlos Albaladejo was pleased "to be shown as councilman of Sports in the presentation of this race," and thanked the work of the Mar Menor cycling club "by keeping it in a very difficult time."

Albaladejo invited all cycling fans and neighbors in general to follow the race and support the runners for the street circuit which will pass through Sandoval Avenue, Los Narejos road from the airport to the roundabout where you turn round to the nursery "Adela Smith "for, from the old road to go to downtown Los Alcazares San Javier, and take the road back to Santiago de la Ribera from round the petrol station.
On the last lap will be diverted to Portman past Los Alcazares El Algar and La Union.
Among the participating groups is the G-Sport of Valencia, Andalucia-Caja Granada, Ceramics Onda, or Redyser-Lincamar Murcia.
The race that once welcomed Alejandro Valverde, will this year with young regional champions as Álvaro Martínez Martínez and Germain, and national and Hector Torres.

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez Pastor said "the commitment of the new government team to continue supporting the sport in San Javier, which works very well for many years in our town, in such events (in reference to the bike race) and grassroots sport. "
