The Governing Council has authorized the Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS) to allocate 439,722 euros to ensure availability, until June 2015, 31 squares a day center for people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality of San Javier.
Specifically, these are places in the middle of day that the Association for the Integration of the Disabled in the region of Mar Menor (Aidemar) is in San Javier.
From this, coverage is given to this town and San Pedro del Pinatar, Los Alcazares, Torre Pacheco, as well as scattered hamlets and villages from municipalities of Murcia and Cartagena.
Day centers are services that offer comprehensive care to people in situations of dependency, in order to improve or maintain the best possible level of personal autonomy and support to families and caregivers.
