San Javier celebrates World Environment Day with an extensive program that starts tomorrow and includes the Week of Science (17/05/2010)

The Department of Environment has organized a program of activities to be held from May 18 to June 6 to mark the World Environment Day, which includes exhibitions, theater, tours, lectures, film forum, and environmental cleanup, as reported this morning the area councilor, José Luis Espinosa, during the presentation of the program that also commemorates the International Day for Biological Diversity, held on 22 May.

Espinosa has been accompanied by Ignacio Berndt, representing the Science Week, an activity that will come to San Javier from 24 to 28 May and has been included in the environmental program.

Berndt explained that the Science Week, "will be like a theme park with sections on various topics, which aims to" promote scientific culture in a language accessible and enjoyable way. "
