The Mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and the Councilor for Sports, Estíbaliz Masegosa visited today the Summer School for Children and the Sports Camps organized by the Department of Sports in the Municipal Sports Center during the summer for those who will pass between July and August more than 600 children between 3 and 12 years old.
The visit coincided with the participation of the 453 children who dismissed the month of July at the School and the different Campus with a multitudinous choreography surrounding the swimming pool of the sports center where the children refresh each day within the program of activities that continue with specialized monitors in a multisport environment.
The Summer Children's School, for children from 3 to 6 years old, and the multi-sport, dance, junior fitness, tennis, paddle, gymnastic and nautical camps, have welcomed 453 children during the month of July, in addition to 150 registered, for the month of August from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. if they stay in the dining room, they carry out different activities focused on the chosen sport.
Mayor José Miguel Luengo highlighted the quality of the service offered both by the facilities and by the specialized monitors in each modality in an offer that we consider basic to help families to facilitate work and family reconciliation during the summer, at the same time that Children fill their free time with activities in which, in addition to having a good time, they perform sports.
