The Summer Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera celebrates its seventh edition on Saturday, August 4th with the participation of 25 comparsas between locals and visitors that will fill the seafront with rhythm and lots of sparkle with the parade that will leave at 9:30 p.m. height of the old Hospital Los Arcos to tour the Paseo Colon and Sandoval Avenue.

At the arrival of the parade to the Barnuevo esplanade will begin a costume party animated by Dj's and at 00: 00h will burn, as is tradition, the mascot, the seahorse that already represents this carnival so linked to the Mar Menor, with a fireworks castle.

The Summer Carnival has become one of the most crowded events of this summer in Santiago de la Ribera since seven years ago the Comparsas Commission together with the City Council of San Javier decided to take advantage of the summer season to promote and disseminate the Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera celebrated in the month of February.

The summer edition of the Carnival continues to gain supporters as shown by the thousands of people who crowd the promenade to enjoy the party that this year began to be set with Charanga Carnavalera tonight runs the walk and its chiringuitos followed by all those who want to join the party.
