A total of 230 gymnasts belonging to 20 clubs in the Region of Murcia will participate in the Regional Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, scoring for the Spanish Championship, which will be held next Saturday, March 2 from 09: 30h in the auxiliary pavilion of the municipal sports center of San Javier.
The Councilor for Sports, Estíbaliz Masegosa, the president of the Murcia Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, María Ángel Díaz de Figueroa and the technical secretary of the same, Josefina Conesa presented this morning at the City Hall of San Javier the competition open to the public You can enjoy four competition sessions throughout the morning with the best gymnasts in the Region.
Josefina Conesa, technical secretary of the Murcian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation that organizes the event with the collaboration of the City of San Javier, explained that the competition will start with the individual classification for the Copa de la Reina followed by the Copa de España en Conjuntos, scoring for the Spanish championship to be held in Guadalajara.
After the first awards ceremony that will take place at 11:10 am, the competition will be resumed with the joint Base Cup, and individual prize will be awarded at 2:15 pm.
The president of the Federation, M.ª Angeles Díaz de Figueroa highlighted the tradition of the municipality of San Javier "which was a pioneer in the organization of a Base Spain Championship" and thanked the City Council for its collaboration in making this event possible.
