The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo received today in the assembly hall of the City of San Javier the candidates for Queens and Ladies of the Federation of Centers for the Elderly of the Municipality of Murcia who have made a visit to the municipality of San Javier in a day of coexistence with the jury that will choose one of the 24 applicants.

The mayor, who was accompanied by several councilors exchanged a gift with the vice president of the Federation, Andrés Sánchez who thanked the welcome received in San Javier "a town very dear to all of us because it has always been our natural gateway to the Mar Menor".

The delegation then visited the museum of the Church of San Francisco Javier and the Municipal Museum accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.
