Orange training has held a meeting with employees of the current concessionaire, who have reported that the new contract does not ensure the presence of ambulance 24 hours a day

Ciudadanos has shown its concern because it considers that the future San Javier ambulance contract could worsen the service and working conditions of the workers.

Several representatives of Citizens in San Javier led by the mayoral candidate, María José García, have held a meeting with the employees of the current ambulance service concessionaire, who have ensured that the contract that will be signed shortly with the new The concessionaire of the ambulance service will not subrogate the personnel of the previous company.

García regretted that several workers of the municipality who have more than 10 years of experience have not received any response from the new concessionaire for future hiring.

"They also believe that the new contract will worsen the working conditions of workers, who have complained that the service will decrease its quality because the contract does not ensure the presence of ambulance 24 hours a day and because the new contract staff does not have sufficient experience in the town.

They also point out that the concession company was created specifically to participate in the provision of this service without having previous experience. "

Likewise, the workers have also denounced that the new contract will not revert the equipment, after the period of three years, which added to the lack of investments during the last eight years in the ambulances that are owned by the City Council, represents an important relief in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

In this sense, the candidate of the orange training has pointed out that "the labor uncertainty and loss of quality is more than worrisome, because it is a very important service that must adequately cover the emergencies of a territory as extensive and complex as the municipality of San Javier, and that the Autonomous Community delegates to the City Council, and at this point we believe that we should not play with the primary care of our neighbors.
