Constitution of the new municipal Corporation and election of mayor in the City Hall of San Javier (15/06/2019)

Luengo pledged to "seek the maximum consensus with the rest of the political groups represented in the Corporation and announced that employment and economic development will be a priority objective of a legislature in which a series of projects and infrastructures that have just begun will be completed. , culture, sports and the improvement of infrastructure will also be highlighted in this new term, said José Miguel Luengo who was touched at the end of his speech when thanked his family for the support they have given him in his delivery to the politics and San Javier.

The municipal corporation constituted today presents a majority of new faces, with eleven councilors who join for the first time the highest political representation body in the municipality composed of 21 seats, which are divided into a total of five political groups: Popular Party with a absolute majority of 11 councilors;

PSOE with five, Citizens-C's with two, the coalition United Podemos-IU-Los Verdes, with one and VOX that premieres representation in the Plenary with two councilors.

The Popular Party, which has gone from 10 to 11 councilors, has five new faces: Rubén Pérez who was in number three of the electoral candidacy;

Ana Belén Martínez in the fifth;

Héctor Verdú in the eight;

Isidoro Jesús Miñano in the nine and Isabel Madrid in the 10. They repeat the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, María Dolores Ruiz as number two, Antonio Marcelo Martínez in four, Estíbaliz Masegosa in the six, David Martínez in the seven and Sergio Martínez in the eleven.
