The preseason of soccer begins in La Manga Club with the presence of national, international teams and national teams (18/06/2019)

La Manga Club has established itself as a sporting destination also for football, hosting 11 teams during the 2019 preseason, double that of the previous year.

The complex, with a total of 360 hectares in the regional park of Calblanque next to the Mediterranean Sea, has eight natural grass fields with FIFA measures in its Football Center, as well as a Center for Research and High Performance Sports (CAR).

La Manga Club, awarded for the second year in a row with the Best Sports Resort Award at the World Travel Awards, kicks off the summer preseason football that brings together national and international teams, academies and national teams each year. resort located in the Callblanque regional park.

With more than 560 hectares and 360 days of sunshine per year, La Manga Club has excellent conditions for the practice of high level sport and brings together in a single space accommodation, sports and leisure facilities in a spectacular environment.

The comprehensive proposal of high competition sport combined with health and relaxation, is a decisive factor to create the necessary environment for a professional sports concentration.

This year they have chosen La Manga Club a total of 11 teams that are already confirmed, double that during the 2018 preseason, confirming Spain as a pre-season destination for both national and international football, with a great variety of countries (India , England, Saudi Arabia etc.).

It is worth highlighting the stay of Everton U23 (7-14 July) and Bournemouth AFC (July 10-17), the latter integrated into the top category of English football.

There will also be preseason there the Partick Thistle, who plays in the Scottish Premier League (24 July 29), and the Goa of the Superliga de India, the most important competition in the Asian country.

Other teams that will warm up engines at La Manga Club are: Scunthorpe (June 30, July 6), Doncaster Rovers (July 1-5) and Peterborough (July 4, 9) of Football League One, and Swindon Town (8-12). July) of the Football League Two.

In addition, the Albacete Balompie (July 29 to August 3), the U20 National Soccer Team of Saudi Arabia (August 19-September 1) and the David Campbell Soccer Academy (July 29 to 3) will also visit La Manga Club.

These 11 teams will gather more than 200 players at the La Manga Club facilities, where they can enjoy not only the complex's Football Center, but also many other sports facilities such as the High Performance Center, the indoor pool or the gymnasium. All of them are very used by football teams to complete their training when they perform their preseason at La Manga Club.

With more than four decades hosting the best international soccer teams, La Manga Club is a regular pre-season or club concentration destination.

Its Football Center consists of eight natural grass fields with measures according to the FIFA international standard.

It also has changing rooms, parking, a press room, a Center for Research and High Performance Sports (CAR) and two gyms (one, located in the facilities of La Manga Club Spa, and another, located in the Tennis Center).
