The Plenum of the Council of Children and Adolescents of San Javier discussed gender equality, culture and education (10/12/2019)

The 22 members of the Local Council of Children and Adolescents occupied today the armchairs of the plenary hall of the City Council of San Javier where they have held their first plenary meeting that they have dedicated to gender equality, Education and Culture.

The Plenary transferred to the municipal representatives different proposals in the field of gender equality, such as the promotion of commercial advertising of toys by age and not by sex and the implementation of its own internet channel managed by the Plenary itself.

They also proposed a media and network campaign in favor of equality throughout the year and other more aggressive in the form of a social experiment facing citizens to limit situations of gender inequality.

They also asked local authorities to help promote equality laws and fight the wage gap between men and women.

They also showed their interest in matching public and private centers and promoting the creation of an expelled classroom.
