The general director of Water, Sebastián Delgado, and the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, visited today the construction works of a rain collector in the Barrio de Los Pescadores de San Javier, with an investment by the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment, of just over 611,000 euros.
The collector is made of PVC, with a nominal diameter of 1,000 mm and 851 meters in length, and will collect the rainwater coming from the Fishermen's neighborhood until it connects with the existing network. , which will be placed along the streets of Cabo de Salou, Spanish Marina and Cabo de Palos and will be made of concrete.
In addition, the replacement of existing services is contemplated.
