The mayor encourages extreme caution to avoid a spike in infections from tomorrow (12/04/2020)

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo recalled in his speech today that for the seventh consecutive day the number of hospitalizations in the Region of Murcia decreased, where there were 44 admitted to the ICU and 344 were cured.

Luengo pointed out the hopefulness of the current figures for the Coronavirus in the Region of Murcia and encouraged to maintain the maximum security measures to avoid the feared spike in infections, especially starting Monday morning when many workers will return to their jobs.

The mayor of San Javier recalled the need to follow the recommendations of the health authorities on returning to work in appropriate cases and invited the general population to wear a mask whenever they leave their homes.

José Miguel Luengo announced that starting tomorrow the members of the Government team will meet with the department heads to organize the situation of each department with the return from tomorrow of the alarm decree of March 14.

The mayor, José Miguel Luengo took advantage of his daily intervention to anticipate that the Department of Commerce and Local Development is working on a Plan to support the commercial and business sector of the municipality, "to reactivate the activity when the shutter can finally be opened."
