The San Javier City Council will adapt the El Mirador clinic to the new prevention measures by COVID19 (13/05/2020)

| The El Mirador Clinic will resume its normal activity in July after the adaptation works of the facilities | The City of San Javier will invest more than 30,000 euros in the adaptation of the El Mirador health office by carrying out a series of improvements that guarantee optimal hygiene and safety conditions for health activity in the center, following the new guidelines motivated by COVID-19. The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo has reported that once the state specifications for this type of center are known, the City of San Javier has streamlined the dossier for awarding the necessary works so that the municipal center can reopen its doors at the beginning of next July, being one of the first consulting rooms adapted to new security measures, in the Region of Murcia. The work, which is expected to be awarded imminently with an execution period of 20 days, will consist of the extension of the waiting room to maintain the necessary safety distance.

Likewise, a new exclusive medical consultation will be enabled for patients with respiratory problems, a new warehouse and the separation of the pediatric area from the rest. Until the reopening with normality of the doctor's office next July, once the adaptation works of the facilities to the new indications of the Government are finished, the Murcian Health Service guarantees health care to the residents who will continue to have some of the Nursing efforts such as Sintrom controls, analytical management on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.
