During a visit to the stand of the Department of the Environment in the San Javier market to promote the campaign "Think with your lungs", Luengo encouraged the population to continue betting on recycling with an eye on the circular economy system as goal.
The mayor of San Javier gave an example of the municipality's treatment plant "where it is possible to recover 100 percent of the incoming flow and give it a new use in irrigation water."Continue increasing recycling levels in the municipality is the objective of the City Council, which, as announced by the mayor, will continue to bet on making the population aware of the economic, social and health benefits of recycling.

The campaign, which was launched a year ago by Ecoembes and the Department of the Environment, focuses on light packaging and the yellow container.
In recent days, two monitors have visited beaches and markets reminding the population of the campaign.In the markets of Santiago de la Ribera and San Javier, residents have been able to play Recycling Roulette and win a gift if they answered the question in the selected box correctly.
