The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo presented yesterday to the Minister of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, Ana Martínez Vidal the most business aspect of the project "San Javier, Ciudad del Aire", in a meeting that took place at the headquarters of the Council, in Murcia, and which had the participation of councilor Rubén Pérez, project coordinator, and the general directors of INFO, Diego Rodríguez and Industry, Eduardo Piné. At the end of the meeting, José Miguel Luengo explained that the "San Javier, Ciudad del Aire" project, with which San Javier intends to become a benchmark in aviation, is "a strategic project for the entire Region of Murcia".
Luengo pointed out that the project contemplates the implantation in the municipality of the aeronautical industry "which implies investment, economic diversification and qualified jobs." The mayor of San Javier informed the counselor about the interest that companies in the sector have already shown in the possibility of creating an aeronautical cluster in the municipality. Luengo appreciated the interest shown by the counselor, Ana Martínez Vidal, who offered the collaboration of the Development Institute for the development of the business component of the "San Javier, Ciudad del Aire" project.
The Minister of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, Ana Martínez Vidal highlighted the regional interest of the project for business promotion and job creation that entails and especially valued that within the current situation San Javier proposes future projects that generate investment and employment .
