The PSOE asks PCR for all the residents of San Javier who want it and that municipal trackers be prepared (03/11/2020)

The socialist spokesperson, Laura Gil, has asked that "the City Council train appropriate municipal employees to monitor and control the contacts of people who have COVID19 as socialist municipalities such as Lorca and Molina de Segura have done." The councilor and general secretary of the PSOE of San Javier, Laura Gil, has indicated that "we have reached a point of such incidence of the coronavirus in the municipality in which the only option to stop its expansion is to carry out voluntary PCR tests to the entire population of the municipality, because asymptomatic people are contagious without knowing it and there are so many that it is very difficult to keep track of all their contacts once there is someone with symptoms ". Gil explained that "as when we asked the municipal Plenary to increase the trackers, laboratory technicians to carry out the tests, as well as the administrative and health personnel, the PP and Cs opposed, we have reached a very difficult health point to sustain ". In this sense, the socialist leader stressed that "we all have to row in the same direction, towards logic and common sense" and that is why she asked the mayor to "begin to train the appropriate municipal employees to be able to reinforce the tasks one of the few trackers that the Regional Government has, not only for this wave but for the one that some experts expect in February.

As the Central Government has done, the Consistory must put all the meat on the grill.

" "Logically, the trackers have to be people with enough knowledge and sensitivity to be able to obtain the trust of those who test positive to tell them which people they have been with, but in the City Council there are qualified personnel who now have no occupation in their work area and they should have prepared this summer to act as trackers in the wave that was already foreseen for this winter ", added Laura Gil. Coordination with educational centers Along the same lines, the Socialists consider "essential that these personnel reinforce the coordination between health and educational centers, so that no more than 12 hours can elapse from the diagnosis of a positive until that information reaches the educational center in which can increase contagions ". In this sense, the PSOE spokesperson of San Javier explained that "if when we requested it the Municipal Health Council had been set up, there would already be a subcommittee on health-education, but every day that passes we are losing precious time for health of the neighbors of San Javier and for our economy ".
