| The Councilor for Commerce, Héctor Verdú, together with the merchants' associations, presents the campaign "Localízate" with discounts of € 10 for every € 25 of purchase | Christmas purchases will have a significant discount this Christmas in the 38 shops in the municipality of San Javier that have joined the "Localízate" campaign, an initiative of the Department of Commerce in collaboration with merchants' associations to encourage purchases in stores local. The campaign, presented today by the Councilor for Commerce, Héctor Verdú, the president of "San Javier, Centro Abierto", Miguel Ángel Callejas and Marcelino Pardo from "San Javier, Ciudad de Compras", offers the buyer € 10 discount vouchers for every € 25 of purchase, with a maximum of 4 bonuses per customer. The Councilor for Commerce, Héctor Verdú explained that the campaign is financed with 8,000 euros of municipal participation to compensate the discounts made by each store, which will receive the total amount of the discounts made during the campaign justified with the vouchers that the client fills in at the time of purchase. The campaign starts next Friday, December 4, and will remain active until January 5.
Merchants trust in increasing sales, as happened last summer when the same type of campaign was carried out, promoted by the Murcia Chamber of Commerce, whose success has now doubled the number of businesses that have been added to the initiative. The participating businesses are located in San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera and will be identified with the campaign poster.
Councilor Héctor Verdú encouraged them to visit local businesses this Christmas and to participate in this campaign that benefits both the customer and the merchant and whose objective is to help boost local commerce in these difficult times.
