San Javier now has its first ordinance Circulation (17/06/2010)

The municipality of San Javier and has its first ordinance of movement that unifies in a single text the current regulations on the movement adapted to the reform of the Road Safety Act in force since May.

The text approved by Parliament, public exposure phase and arguments, sets out in detail all matters relating to urban traffic, automobile, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians, road use, loading and unloading, and fords, between other issues, according to Security Council Member Manuel Leal.

The mayor said the new security control of the fords, classified in permanent employment, from 09:30 to 20:30, Monday to Saturday, and evening from 21:00 to 09:00 h.

Also addressed for the first time the use of pedestrian traffic in relation to bicycle or motorcycle parking.

The text also sets out in detail as regards the withdrawal of a road vehicle, and makes clear the parking ban in the town for vehicles over 3,500 kilos.

Manuel Leal explained that the ordinance is the first municipality in the text set out a number of issues that sometimes were governed by ancient ordinances, or state regulations.

The ordinance was passed with votes in favor of the government team, the popular group abstention and voting against the independent group, stated in an annex a box full amount and standard penalties which unifies with the penalties established General Directorate of Traffic, so the same offense has the same financial penalty in the other municipalities.

Leal said "the preventive value" of the passage of traffic on the new traffic ordinance "in order to prevent accidents caused by unlawful conduct."
