The municipal training plan on prevention of occupational hazards, including 23 courses, training prioritizes utilities and cleaning (17/02/2016)

Councillor of Public and Occupational Health and Safety, Maria Dolores Ruiz today stressed the importance of further training on prevention of occupational accidents among municipal employees and especially among workers assigned to utilities and cleaning service than by characteristics of their jobs were considered as priorities in the plan overrides local training in the field.

The mayor Maria Dolores Ruiz accompanied by the municipal technician in Occupational Health and Safety, Victor Hernandez took the receipt to the group of cleaners started their course this morning to present the annual training plan includes a total of 23 classroom courses with a workload falls between 3 and 17 hours, depending on the course.

Maria Dolores Ruiz explained that the courses are aimed at all municipal employees even prior to planning an analysis and description of the various positions existing at City Hall was performed to identify critical jobs that require priority training, highlighting those that work involving a more effort, which involves greater risk.

The training plan also includes training in first aid and the use of fire extinguishers through basics for action in emergency situations can be decisive in any of the jobs.

All courses will be taught by the Prevention Service of the City of San Javier and Civil Protection Service.
