Spain's best archers compete this weekend in San Javier on 2nd Grand Prix of Spain Murcia Archery (08/04/2016)

The 178 best goalkeepers in Spain are given appointment this weekend on 2nd Grand Prix of Spain Murcia Archery held in the municipal sports center of San Javier on 9 and 10 April.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, President of the Federation of Archery Murcia, Juan Jose Noguera, and the president of the local club Agarco, Marisa Gadea presented this morning the scoring championship for the upcoming European appointments and global, not forgetting the Olympics.

Archers Club San Javier, José María Vidal and Marisa Gadea compete in the Championship which takes place in the modalities of compound bow and recurve in the range that has been enabled on the football field lawn bordered by track Athletics.

On Saturday, 9 start training at 08:00 and 09:15 starts competition in eliminitarias compound bow phases up to 16 players.

In the afternoon the competition will be repeated with the recurve bow.

The 16 archers from both modalities will contest the finals on Sunday 10 in the morning from 10: 00h.

José Miguel Luengo emphasized the importance of the Grand Prix of Spain in San Javier "where we continue betting on the sport as a great ally of tourism in the fight against seasonal adjustment".

Marisa Gadea, experienced archer in the local club "Agarco" was pleased to host the Championship in San Javier which has the oldest club in the Region of Murcia, founded in 1978, and encouraged the audience to not miss the competition with the best goalkeepers in the country.

From the Federation of Archery Murcia will continue betting on attracting the region such events, said its president, Juan Jose Noguera who thanked the cooperation of the City of San Javier which praised the facilities and provision made possible to hold these national tests.

Noguera also thanked the municipal support for the sport, not too known "Evening in execution men, women, children and youth."

Noguera also thanked the collaboration of volunteers, sponsors including Mapfre and Lexus, and support of the Royal Spanish Federation of Archery, the Higher Sports Council, the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia and Costa Calida Murcia
