The awards ceremony closed the school competitions Environment Week (06/06/2016)

The efforts in environmental awareness among the new generations seem to bear fruit in the light of the work they have done students of secondary schools in the municipality for several thematic contests whose awards were presented this morning in the hall of the City Council San Javier.

The most striking were performed by students of secondary school Sacred Heart, which was the only participants in the "it's time to retrain."

A large "window to the world of recycling", made of cardboard, showed a striking sofa, a watch, a fountain, three lamps and even a dress made entirely with recovered as cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, corks, capsules of materials coffee cans and glass jars, among others.

The Councillor for Environment, Antonio Luengo, who praised the works presented presented the awards to the students of 1st and 4th of ESO, the Sacred Heart which consisted of a check of 400 euros and two visits to the recycling plant glass Caudete, Albacete, for participating classes.

Elementary students participated in the mural contest "San Javier, a living city" with murals where not not miss the sea, nor the Eagle patrol, children identify with the municipality.

The Sacred Heart School received the award section 1 and 2 of Primary CEIP "El Recuerdo" 3rd and 4th and school "Virgen de Loreto" which focused its work in caring for the sea, 5th and 6th.

The prizes were endowed with 100, 200 and 300 euros respectively.

At the same event, with the Environment Week San Javier, was concluded, were also awarded prizes "Pásalo to Clean" campaign, which service garbage collection and municipal cleaning done throughout the year in schools.

Multiple Services Councilwoman Maria Dolores Ruiz and Manuel Loja, FCC representative, entrusted undertaking presented the awards to the best slogans with which encourage recycling.

In the IES "Ruiz de Alda" which was more successful in social networks, with more than 600 "like" was the "To molar lots, recycle mogollón" while in the IES "Mar Menor" triumphed with 700 "like" the slogan "If you do not recycle today, tomorrow do not expect a new day."
