The Bank of Books of San Javier starts working for the academic year 2016-17 (16/06/2016)

The newly created Bank of Books of San Javier starts working for the academic year 2016-17 in all secondary schools in the municipality.

Councillor for Education Catalina Perez and the president of the FAPA of San Javier, Encarna Munuera presented this morning in the city of San Javier initiative that allows families to save on the provision of textbooks for their children.

The base system is donating books, something that is crucial for the implementation of the Bank's why both the president of the FAPA as Councilwoman have appealed to families to donate books for their children.

In addition, the City provides 5,000 euros for the purchase of books and contribute thereby to supplement the lack of stock.

To enter the system, families must register with the program manager of Banco del Libro through www.libros4all.com where they will receive three points that can be redeemed for books of core subjects, which are the most expensive in the market, and that the Bank may buy 7,5euros in the case of belonging to a 12.5 AMPA and otherwise.

Families will not lose the points will also receive at the time of donating their books and that may subsequently be redeemed according to available stocks.

The Bank of Books is aimed at courses 3rd to 6th Primary and 1st to 4th secondary.

on October 28 to 12h.y on September 29 to 12h and 17 to 21h., said Encarna Munuera adding that during July will contact all registered for delivery of the corresponding books.
