The mayor meets with young high-performance athletes of the municipality (28/06/2016)

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo received today at City Hall a group of young high-level athletes in the municipality, at a ceremony attended by the Director General of Sports, Alonso Gómez who he congratulated both the athletes and the City "for its continued commitment to the sport."

The meeting was attended swimmer Carmen San Nicholas, Lorenzo Paralympian Albaladejo, the footballer, Marta Peñalver, wrestlers Fernando Perez, Carla Lera Lera and Lorena, Sandra sidesaddle mountaineer Miguel Frutos and Madrid.

Also the CEO of Sports recalled that the autonomous government allocated 116,000 euros this year for high-performance athletes in the Region of Murcia "which will provide assistance to continue their sports training."
