Defense Minister Pedro Morenés presided over the delivery of offices to 91 new officers of the Air Force in the General Air Academy, San Javier (12/07/2016)

Defense Minister, Pedro Morenés chaired today the delivery of Royal deliveries to 91 new officers of the Air Force who have completed their studies at the General Air Academy in San Javier in a ceremony that was attended by the Chief of Staff Air Force, Francisco Javier García Arnaiz, President of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver and the government delegate in Murcia, Pedro Solis, among other authorities military and civilians.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo as the highest representative of the host city of the Air Force was one of the civilian authorities together with the President of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, along with other military commanders, to deliver shipments to 68 lieutenants, three of them women, 67th Corps General Promotion;

28 Corps of Engineers, three of them women;

Two Quartermaster Corps, and students of the Thai Air Force, which received its certificate.

The Plaza de Armas Academy was filled as usual which is one of the most important annual events of the military center to witness a ceremony that began with the entry of the Minister of Defense, Pedro Morenés in the square where he reviewed the Prayer forces before Thanksgiving that gave the Vicar-General.

The Minister, accompanied by Colonel director of the AGA, Pablo Sanchez de Lara was commissioned to deliver the Numbers 1 deliveries to the different promotions, lieutenants, Sergio Benito Diego, Corps General;

Jose Luis Ogea Corps of Engineers Official Scale, and Hector Santos Espinosa, Corps of Engineers Technical Scale.

Colonel director of the AGA, Pablo Sanchez de Lara turned in his address to the new officers who recalled that until now had come "kind of way fencing in which they have been helped by their teachers" but now playing " take flight without lateral limits, by known routes, other new and perhaps unexpected, in your career. "

Sanchez de Lara reminded the new lieutenants the military values ​​that should govern in their new professional and personal career, "the honor, loyalty, spirit of sacrifice, dedication to service or discipline".

The head of the military training center considered that the new lieutenants bring "value" to the Air Force that claimed as "an indispensable tool of the first magnitude to provide the degree of security aerospace our society needs wherever it is demanded."

After the speech, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force was asked to deliver the "break ranks" after which the new officers threw their caps in the air to celebrate the end of his military and academic studies.

As usual, the event ended with an air and land parade and a tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain.
