Joshua Redman, the best tenor saxophonist of his generation, in Jazz San Javier 2016

Joshua Redman is one of the most charismatic saxophonists emerged in the 90s, when he began his musical career with a surprising debut on the jazz scene in New York where he began playing with great jazz musicians of his generation as Peter Bernstein, Larry Goldings and Roy Hargrove, among many others.

Shortly after arriving in New York, Joshua Redman won the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition, which he finished opening the doors of jazz, touring and recording with masters like his own father, the great jazz saxophonist Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden Elvin Jones and Joe Lovano.
