High Voltage night in San Javier Jazz with Jon Cleary, recent winner of a Grammy, and Bill Evans & Dean Brown Band

The pianist, guitarist, singer and songwriter Jon Cleary comes to Jazz San Javier with a recent Grammy Award for his latest album "Go Go Juice" in which collects the heartbeat of New Orleans, the city that left England with 17 years.

Jon Cleary has spent 35 years in the musical city of Lousiana "where the funk is the root music," says the musician of funk and R & B that Bonnie Raitt has described as "the ninth wonder of the world" for its excellent musical quality.

Jon Cleary was part of the band Bonnie Raitt for several years until 2009 when he left to focus on his solo career, which had begun in 1999 with the publication of "Moonburn".

Since then he has released eight albums to "Go Go Juice" produced by veteran John Porter, producer of Santana, BB King and Elvis Costello, and which counted for horn arrangements with Allen Toussaint, one of the musical icons new Orleans, which as Dr. John, have shown their respect for this studious and love with the rich musical culture of the city musician.

Bill Evans began his career in the band of Miles Davis where he remained for five years, in addition to recording with the legendary trumpeter all his albums between 1980 and 1984 when he recorded his first solo album "In The Crest of Wave".

In his 30 year career he has participated in many projects and covered a wide variety of styles from classic jazz, funk, bluegrass and jazz fusion.
