Summary of plenary agreements held on Thursday, January 26 (27/01/2017)

The plenary held last night in the San Javier City Council unanimously approved all municipal political groups to reject the appeal filed by Hidrogea Gestión Integral de Aguas de Murcia, SA concessionaire of the potable water service, against the agreement of the Plenum of November 2016 rejecting the allegations made by the company against the liquidation of the additional fee of the concession for the year 2015 which according to the municipal reports amounts to € 1,721,725.04, and whose settlement, according to the company , Would amount to € 900.46.

The agreement last night is incorporated into the litigation held by City Hall and company on the calculation of the complementary fee, a clause contained in the contract of the service that is awarded the mercantile, and which consists of an amount that the company must pay the City when The number of meters will increase by more than 25%, starting in 1994, when the contract is signed.

The increase of more than 25% in the number of accountants occurred in 2002, and since then the corresponding amount has not been satisfied, given the considerable divergences in the calculation of the mentioned fee, between the company and the services of Intervention and Secretary of the City council of San Javier.

All groups expressed their desire for a prompt judicial decision on the matter.

Unanimity for the recovery of 280m2 in La Manga

Citizen-C's motion on database for smaller contracts

The Plenum unanimously approved a motion presented by the Citizens-C's Group to promote transparency in relation to minor contracts of the City Council (less than 50,000 in works and 18,000 in services) in which it is agreed to create a database of companies, By sectors, to which will be sent the contracting bids, for which a mechanism will be enabled and publicized so that any company that requests it is included in the list that will be attached to the database already existing in the City Hall .

The agreement includes that the database of companies can be consulted on the website of the City Council, as well as publicizing through the web, and the municipal bulletin board of all minor agreements and contracts that the City Council subscribes.

Motion of the Socialist group on the Fire Consortium

The Plenary held last night gave the approval with the votes in favor of the Socialist groups, Citizens-C's, Winning San Javier, the non-attached councilman and the abstention of the Popular group of a motion presented by the Socialist group concerning the Consorcio de Bomberos de The Region of Murcia in which the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community is urged to draw up, together with the trade union representatives, a Plan for the growth and modernization of the Consortium, which includes a reduction of up to 20 minutes in response times for All municipalities, as well as a training plan for its staff, a maintenance plan for facilities, as well as modernization of vehicles.

The motion includes other agreements relating to a study on the progressive provision of places, to promote a Fire Law that regulates the service and profession in the Region of Murcia, as well as the budget revision of the Consortium.

Modification of the Local Government Board
