Councilor for Culture David Martinez today announced that the San Javier Museum is already part of the Network of Exhibition Spaces of the Region of Murcia "a project that will strengthen cultural programming in our municipality and that will enrich the artistic content of the Museum, The time that will potentiate the tourist resources of San Javier ".
David Martinez also reported that this adhesion of the municipal Museum to the regional network comes accompanied by a "profound transformation of the temporary exhibition room of the Museum, in which process is already working, in order to adapt it to the current exhibition needs ".
Martinez said that the inauguration of the new exhibition hall of the Museum is planned for next summer with a macro exhibition, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage of CARM, coinciding with the 48th International Festival of Theater, Music and Dance of San Javier.
The mayor of Culture added that the remodeling of the temporary exhibition room, to make it an area suitable for all types of exhibitions, will be the beginning of a process of transformation that will make the San Javier Museum one of the main cultural lungs of the municipality.
