Mayor José Miguel Luengo, Urban Planning Councilor Antonio Luengo and the mayor of Pozo Aledo, José Davó have met this morning in Murcia with the Minister of Fomento and Infrastructures Pedro Rivera who has presented the project to remodel the link Pozo Aledo with the AP7 motorway, whose wording is expected to be completed before next summer, which will allow to tender works whose budget amounts to 700,000 euros.
At the end of the meeting the mayor informed that the new project includes a direct link to the AP7, in the direction of Cartagena, from the Mar Menor motorway, which will end on the arrival of the roundabout, which serves as the main exit and entrance to Pozo Aledo , And that will work like any other "avoiding any confusion".
The access from Pozo Aledo to the AP7 will be made with an exit of a new branch directly from the roundabout.
Luengo stressed that this new link, in addition to benefiting the residents of Pozo Aledo, will serve the residents of San Javier, especially those in the central area who can also access the highway through the avenue of Balsicas.
