Rosario Ferrández, the longest-living woman in the municipality of San Javier, died yesterday when she was eight days away from turning 105.
Rosario died in her house in Santiago de la Ribera surrounded by her family, afflicted with the ailments of her own age so advanced but without a serious illness as a cause.
Rosario received a tribute from the City Council of San Javier when she turned 100 in 2012, surrounded by family and friends in her home in the center of Santiago de la Ribera, and next March 8, the day of her birthday, had organized another Small official recognition on the part of the City council to the woman more longeva of the municipality, and probably of the Region of Murcia.
Known as "Rosarito la Javier," by her husband Javier Lopez with whom he ran the grocery store that was in the center of Santiago de la Ribera, Rosario is remembered for the piano, which could be heard from the street and In her husband's shop, since she was teaching piano at home until she was 80.
When he turned 100, his only wish was to "live, so as not to fail to see my family", consisting of three children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Asked then, Rosario did not know the secret of longevity.
