Councilor for Education Catalina Pérez recently visited La Manga's educational centers starting with the Municipal Children's School, which is located in San Javier, as well as the school "Mediterráneo" and the IES "Las Salinas", which are located In the term of Cartagena.
Catalina Pérez met with the team responsible for the Children's Municipal School, which currently hosts 13 children from 0 to 3 years old, and is preparing for the "high season" from Easter when a significant Increased demand for places, due to the summer season, which has motivated the School to open also in August, with a Summer School that welcomes children up to 6 years.
Catalina Pérez clarified that this is the quarterly visit to the centers of La Manga, including the school and the institute, which are attended by 200 and 170 students enrolled in San Javier, respectively.
The mayor of Education explained that "although the City of San Javier does not have direct powers, in those centers, if it collaborates and coordinates with them different activities throughout the year."
The council met with the directors of the CEIP "Mediterranean" and the IES "Las Salinas", with which, in addition to being interested in the march of the centers, addressed issues related to the collaborations that are carried out throughout the year, through talks , Workshops and other activities promoted by the Municipal School of Family in which the councils of Education and Social Services collaborate.
