The Councilor for Culture, David Martinez attended yesterday in Madrid to the Meeting of the Committee on Culture of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, FEMP, which forms part of the Region of Murcia, which addressed the continuity Of the PLATEA 2017 Program.
The PLATEA program aims to promote the joint programming of theater, dance and circus companies by venues owned by local entities to revive their cultural programming and to promote citizen access, organized by INAEM in collaboration with the FEMP.
Among other issues, the Commission discussed the FEMP's agreement with the State Secretariat of Culture and the Coca-Cola Foundation for the celebration of the XVIII María Moliner Campaign for Animation in Lecture in municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants during 2017 And the proposal for a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology to facilitate the dissemination of scientific culture in the municipalities.
As director of the International Festival of Theater, Music and Dance of San Javier, David Martínez took advantage of his stay in Madrid to hold several meetings "in order to outline details of the next edition of the Festival with several national and international companies and producers as Ysarca Art Promotion and La Abadía Theater, among others, which will be linked to the 48th edition of the Festival ".
