Children and young people defend healthy habits at the Health Fair with which San Javier's Healthy Week ends (06/04/2017)

The representatives of the Local Board of Children and Adolescents today called for the right to life, health, food, drinking water and protection for all children during the reading of a manifesto they have read together with the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, in the Health Fair, held in the framework of the I Healthy Week with different activities in which, in recent days, some 3,500 children and young people from all over the municipality have participated,

Mayor José Miguel Luengo underlined the municipal commitment with the youngest that has materialized with the adhesion of San Javier to the Network of Friends of Children of UNICEF, and other initiatives such as the implementation of the Local Children's Table and The Health Knowledge Bank for Children and Adolescents.

In this context and coinciding with the celebration of 7 April, World Health Day and International Sport Day is organized this Healthy Week whose goal is to promote healthy living habits among schoolchildren, said Luengo who thanked the implication Of schools, where they have previously worked on topics such as food, with work and initiatives presented today at the Fair.

From the early hours of the morning the children who were arriving at the Plaza de España, were able to practice sport with music, pass by the sanitary prevention stand where a team of students was in charge of carrying out a study of each one.
