Twenty-seven businesses will improve their competitiveness with a course that includes individual counseling. The mayor opened the course with which initiates a free training program fruit of the agreement between the City of San Javier and the INCYD (25/04/2017)

The mayor, José Miguel Luengo inaugurated yesterday the course "Diagnosis and Action Plans for the improvement of competitiveness in Commerce", in which have registered 27 retail stores of the municipality with the aim of improving their business and technical opportunities selling.

José Miguel Luengo recalled that "this course is the first of the eight training programs that will be developed in San Javier free of charge for our merchants and entrepreneurs" through the agreement signed between the City of San Javier and the INCYDE Foundation Cameral for the Creation and Development of the Company).

A group of professionals specialized in the different subjects, dependent on the INCYDE Foundation, will help the students to make a current diagnosis and an improvement plan for their trade during the course that began last night and that consists of 37 hours, which Are divided into group sessions as individual counseling.

In different blocks, those responsible for participating merchants will learn how to improve their window dressing techniques, and improve their sales techniques, including online sales.

They will also be able to face their presence in the networks as social media of their own businesses.

The course also covers the financial and tax area, with a previous analysis of the individual situation of each business and notions about negotiations and fiscal and financial strategies.

José Miguel Luengo welcomed all the participating merchants and wished them the best use of the course that he placed as "an instrument more than those we have set in motion from the government team to revitalize the commercial and business sector in the municipality."

Luengo recalled the tax breaks introduced in "the largest modification of ordinances that has been carried out in the City Council," the Economic Impulse Plan, which includes a battery of initiatives such as the start-up of a Business Center in Santiago de la Ribera And the agreement with the INCYDE Foundation, which will involve the development of a total of eight different training programs, subsidized by 80 percent by the European Social Fund, "specially designed for those businesses that already existed before the crisis with the aim of Strengthen their competitiveness for the future ".

The mayor encouraged all those responsible for small and medium-sized enterprises in the municipality to take an interest in these courses, "which INCYDE Foundation has successfully developed in other parts of Spain, and now have them in their municipality."
