More than 50 volunteers from the Bank of Time have attended the talk "How to maintain high self-esteem" organized by the Department of Volunteering and Citizen Participation aimed primarily at people engaged in volunteering.
The talk, given by the psychologist and volunteer of the Bank of Time, Mariló Vélez, is part of a series of initiatives launched by the Department of Volunteerism related to care and training in different areas of people dedicated to give their time To others.
The speaker offered information and resources to help maintain self-esteem with the objective of reinforcing self-confidence as a useful tool in developing her work as a volunteer.
The talk that took place in the Araceli Rubio room in Santiago de la Ribera was very participative and lasted for two hours.
The council of Volunteering also organizes, throughout the year, meetings and days of coexistence with all volunteers, talks and other initiatives such as recreational excursions, to thank their work and encourage the sharing of people dedicated to the same mission.
